Donny van de Beek has taken to social media to reflect on his first training session back at Manchester United under Erik ten Hag.

Since arriving at Old Trafford, Van de Beek has had little luck when it comes to regular first-team football. So far the 25-year-old has managed just 50 appearances for United with the vast majority of those being cameos off the bench.

His frustrations in Manchester have been well documented and led to him seeking a loan move to Everton in the second half of the 2021/22 Premier League season.

Van de Beek enjoyed more regular game time in Frank Lampard's side before an injury saw him miss the majority of the run-in as the Toffees looked to avoid the drop.
