Glasgow Rangers are set to find out whether or not they will be able to swoop for one of their targets in the summer transfer window… According to The Athletic, one club are set to make a decision on an attacking target for Ross Wilson and Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

That team are Aston Villa with the report stating they are yet to decide whether or not he will go out on loan for the 2022/23 campaign and are now due to make a final call on his immediate future.

It has been reported this summer that Rangers are one of a number of teams interested in landing the England youth international if he becomes available.

If Villa opt to loan the talented youngster out then he could be Rangers’ new Alfredo Morelos at Ibrox as he has the potential to be a lethal goalscorer for the club.
