Danilo is 'amazing' and Rangers fans will see it as Feyenoord ally comes out swinging for toiling pal

Danilo has been backed to blast his way out of his stuttering start for Rangers and deliver goals by former Feyenoord team mate Ofir Marciano.

Questions have been asked of the £5.6m Brazilian signing who has started only three games since joining in July. Again he was used off the bench in last week’s massive Champions League play-off defeat to PSV Eindhoven and in Sunday’s damaging Premiership loss at home to Celtic.

But Marciano reckons the 24-year-old is “technically amazing”. And the ex-Hibs keeper insists Gers fans can rest easy adding there are no doubts about his quality after he helped Feyenoord win the Eredivisie title, hitting 12 goals in all competitions last season.

Danilo has found the net twice in nine appearances for Rangers and Cyriel Dessers and Kemar Roofe were preferred by Michael Beale against Celtic.
