Danilo suffers sickening Rangers head injury as striker left woozy after scoring vital strike

Danilo has sparked Rangers worries after being taken off with a head knock in the Premiership clash with St Johnstone. The Brazilian and Saints defender Liam Gordon collided in nasty fashion inside the box while competing for a cross, and the import from Feyenoord met it first to nod beyond Dimitar Mitov and into the net.

But it came at a major cost as he was left dazed and in a heap on the McDiarmid Park turf while medics rushed onto the pitch to treat both players.

A stretcher was called onto the park to assist Danilo but it wasn't needed and he managed to make his way off the park on his own two feet, although clearly was not in a good way when getting help off the pitch.

Gordon was also substituted out of action as both sides took no chances with concussion protocol substitutes available to both Steven MacLean and Michael Beale.
