Danielle Hill advances to another final at Commonwealth Games

Danielle Hill's excellent form continued at the Commonwealth Games as she qualified for her third final in Birmingham.Swimming in the 50m backstroke, she touch the wall in a time of 28.28 to qualify seventh overall.

This was outside her Irish record time of 27.95.The result replicates her run to the final of the 50m Freestyle, as well as the 4x100 Freestyle Relay, which she competed in earlier in the competition.

The final will take place tomorrow evening.Elsewhere, Northern Ireland's first ever swimming medallist Barry McClements returned to the pool this evening for his second and final event.

McClements was swimming in the S10 100m Butterfly Final, as an S9 athlete, the 20-year-old was swimming up a classification for this event.
