Cristiano Ronaldo‘s summer has been a bit of a strange one. The Portuguese superstar seems intent on leaving his beloved Manchester United, but has, thus far, failed to find a new club to call home.
Strangely, clubs across Europe have gone cold on the idea of having the great man on their books, with reports of several outfits turning down the opportunity to sign him.
As a result, his career is rather up in the air and, with the new season careering over the horizon, we still don’t know where he might be playing.
It is a far cry from last summer when Ronaldo was at the heart of a mini bidding war for his services among the Manchester clubs.
