Next week, Stephen Reid 'returns' to the cobbles as Jenny Connor makes a discovery in Coronation Street. It's been weeks now since the broke businessman-turned-serial killer was bumped off by Peter Barlow, bringing his dastardly reign over the cobbles to an end.

But despite Audrey Roberts' son being gone, he's left a trail of devastation in his wake, with Jenny unable to get the Rovers back after planning to leave for Thailand and Carla Connor desperately trying to stop Underworld from going bust after Stephen stole from the business account.

In upcoming scenes in the ITV soap, Audrey shows Stephen’s belongings to Jenny and asks her if there’s anything she’d like. Jenny takes his laptop, explaining that she used to borrow it from time to time.

But when David suggests she should throw Stephen’s diary in the bin as she’ll find it upsetting, Audrey won’t hear of it, adamant that he wasn’t all bad.
