Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has given a bit of an insight into his recovery after undergoing surgery towards the end of last year.
The actor revealed the news on social media in November by sharing a picture of himself after going under the knife to fix an ACL injury.
The ACL is one of two ligaments that cross in the middle of the knee, connecting your thighbone to your shinbone and helping stabilize your knee joint.
In the photo shared to his Instagram page, Alan could be seen giving a thumbs up for the camera. The soap star, famed for playing Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap, was propped up in bed with his left leg in a compression wrap.
