It feels like only a few days since Rodri fired home the winner in Istanbul, before Manchester City returned to a thunderstorm in the city centre to show off their treble trophies.

After a five-week break, however, City will begin preparations for their treble defence when they link up at the training ground today, before flying out to Japan and South Korea on Wednesday for their pre-season tour for the next fortnight.
