Good morning, City fans! Here are your latest Leicester City headlines ahead of today's game against Arsenal. Leicester City have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Alex Smithies.
The 32 year-old has signed a two-year deal at the King Power Stadium and arrives on a free transfer having left Cardiff City over the summer.
He joins Leicester after a short spell on trial with Premier League rivals AFC Bournemouth. Smithies, who has also played for Huddersfield Town and Queens Park Rangers, arrives at Leicester as a third-choice goalkeeper behind Danny Ward and Daniel Iversen.
He has never played in the Premier League but has made over 460 senior career appearances - most of them in the Championship.
