A man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the chest in Bury. Emergency services were called to the scene of the incident on Dumers Lane at around 9.50pm last night (Monday) to 'reports of concern for the welfare of a man'.
Greater Manchester Police said a 30-year-old man had been stabbed in his chest. He was taken to hospital by paramedics. He remains there in a 'stable condition'. Police said he was arrested on suspicion of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm He remains in custody to be quizzed by detectives.
