Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left sharing the same 'should have' message as this year's Blackpool special failed to deliver a key moment.

The juggernaut that is the BBC One dance contest ditched its usual ballroom in Elstree Studio and headed North for one weekend only.

As per the show's annual tradition, the competition's remaining couples and the hosts, judges and crew headed to the seaside town where week nine of the 2023 series was broadcast live from the iconic Tower Ballroom.

EastEnders star Bobby Brazier and his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell were the first couple to dance following a spectacular opening sequence from the show's talented professional dancers.
