Shirley Ballas has left some Strictly Come Dancing viewers unimpressed as they pleaded 'can someone'. The show's head judge was back in the ballroom on Saturday night (November 4) as the BBC One dance contest continued.
The nine remaining couples were hoping to impress Shirley and her fellow judges, Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood as the 2023 run of the hit competition reached the halfway mark.
Week seven kicked off with actor and West End star Layton Williams delivering quick footwork, a pirouette and an aerial cartwheel to secure a score of 36 – the highest-scoring jive of the series so far.

But viewers weren't happy with Shirley as she spoke over Anton and Craig's comments as they gave Layton and Nikita more critique than usual - and she didn't agree. @Claireluvschocs tweeted: "Shirley was really bloody rude commenting in the background when Anton and Craig were critiquing Layton. #Strictly." @TeacherBusy fumed: "Oh my god, Shirley SHUT UP talking over the other judges!
