Australia sealed their place at the summit of the ICC Men's ODI rankings by dethroning Pakistan following their dominant display against South Africa in the 2nd ODI of the three-match ODI series.

Days after the 'Men in Green' took their place at the top of the table in the Men's ODI Team Rankings, Australia reclaimed their spot with a win in the second ODI against South Africa.

After winning a thriller in the first match in Bloemfontein, Australia won the second ODI by 123 runs. In the second ODI, put to bat first, Australia got off to a blistering start from Travis Head and David Warner.

Head scored a quickfire half-century, while Warner brought up his 20th ODI ton as Australia got a solid foundation. Marnus Labuschagne, Australia's hero in the first ODI win, then continued his brilliant run with another ton.

Himanshu said that the outfield of the stadium had been changed before the third ODI game and added that the pitch is batting-friendly. The secretary of the SCA also hoped that the last match before the ODI World Cup would be exciting. "The third and last ODI match between India and Australia will be played in Rajkot. For this match, the outfield of the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot has been completely renewed. The entire stadium will be packed because all the tickets are sold out, and the wicket is also very batting-friendly. We are sure that this last match before the World Cup will be very exciting," Himanshu Shah said.
