Confident Kenny Dalglish reckons the only way Ange Postecoglou would leave Celtic is if a top six English Premier League side came calling.

Ahead of Roberto De Zerbi's appointment as Brighton boss the Australian was heavily linked with a move to succeed Graham Potter at the Amex, and has now been touted south of the border as a potential replacement for Brendan Rodgers should he be axed at Leicester City with the Foxes sitting rock bottom of the table after a disappointing start to the season.

However, Dalglish insists there is no reason for Postecoglou to walk away from the Scottish Premiership title battle as well as Champions League football for a scrap for survival in the English top flight.

The former Liverpool and Celtic boss insists there is a "special bond" between the Parkhead fans and the boss that will be tough for potential suitors to break if they come in with an offer.
