Scotland suffered massive injury blow on the stroke of half-time against Spain after skipper Andy Robertson was forced off - and he could also be facing a lengthy Liverpool lay-off with a suspected dislocated shoulder.
The full back couldn’t continue against Spain after he was clattered by the home side’s keeper Unai Simon as they competed for a high ball.
Steve Clarke was already without left back Kieran Tierney through injury and Robertson was replaced by Merseyside rival, Everton’s Nathan Patterson.
Spain were awarded a free kick after the collision and Michael Stewart, on co-commentary for Viaplay, hit out at the decision after the Athletic Bilbao shot-stopper appeared to wipe him out.
