Ahmed Musa confident Nigeria can win 2023 AFCON

Nigeria’s captain Ahmed Musa speaks during the pre-match press conference (Photo by Daniel Beloumou Olomo / AFP)Sivasspor attacker, Ahmed Musa, has expressed confidence in the Super Eagles of Nigeria to go ahead and win the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast.Musa speaking to NFF TV said he and his fellow Super Eagles teammates are confident they can achieve this due to the quality of players in the final 25-man squad.“Everybody is happy in camp, excited and just waiting for us to go to Abidjan for the start of the tournament,” the Super Eagles captain said with all confidence,” Musa said.“Since after the last game in Uyo that the campaign started ‘Let’s Do it Again’, we’ve been talking to each other that this is the time for us to go there and shine because when you see the names in the 25-man squad, you can’t say we are not going there to win. “In football, anything can happen but we have that confidence.

When the coach came, the target he set for himself is to win the African Cup of Nations and by the grace of God, we are going there to do that.“The message I have for Nigerians is just believe in the team, that’s the only thing we need.
