Abu Dhabi T10 franchises complete squad lists after player draft

The eight teams of Abu Dhabi T10 made their picks for the upcoming season through a player draft on Monday. A total of 782 players from across the globe registered for the tournament which takes place from November 28 to December 9.

By the end of the proceedings, some of the top players in white ball cricket had been snapped up, including familiar names like Sri Lanka's World Cup centurion Kusal Mendis, England's Dharamsala hero Reece Topley, veteran spinner Imran Tahir and others.

The teams had already made their selections before the draft began. Players like Quinton de Kock, Andre Russell, Shakib Al Hasan, Nicholas Pooran, Moeen Ali, and others were retained or signed before the draft began.

Speaking at the draft, Shaji Ul Mulk, chairman, T10 Global, said: "The franchises have picked some of the best players in the world this season.
