Alan Burrows has offered Aberdeen fans hope that their clash with Motherwell could still go ahead despite horrendous weather conditions.
Storm Gerrit is battering Scotland with the North East bearing the brunt of it. Barry Robson's men are due to host the Steelmen tonight although punters will be checking in given the wind and rain currently leathering Pittodrie.
That won't only make things difficult for the players, but fans getting to and from the ground are facing tricky travelling conditions and safety will be paramount, particularly with the stadium prone to damage if wind speeds get too high.
But CEO Burrows remains hopeful that there will be action going ahead tonight. He has assured fans that staff are on standby to do whatever it takes to get the game played should it be safe to do so, and offered some hope that the barrage from Mother Nature is set to ease off in the build up to kick-off.
