Aaron Mooy and David Turnbull are set to ramp up their bid to be fit for Celtic's Viaplay Cup final showdown with Rangers. Ange Postecoglou is looking to keep the trophy in the Celtic Park cabinet when they travel to Hampden to face off against Michael Beale's side, and looks set to have a full strength squad to choose from at the national stadium.
Ahead of the Scottish Premiership rout of Aberdeen, Australian international Mooy pulled up with a knock in training and was not risked against the Dons, while Turnbull also suffered a niggle following a rare start against St Mirren.
Matt O'Riley was drafted in for the win over the Pittodrie outfit but Mooy could find himself back in the starting line-up for the Viaplay Cup clash.
Ahead of facing Rangers, Postecoglou was asked by Celtic TV for an update on the squad's fitness stating: "Yeah, ok. Obviously from the weekend no new injuries from the game.
