3 Celtic headaches 'staring them in the face' after Motherwell misfire that has left Premiership leaders 'vulnerable'

Brendan Rodgers better hope his declaration on transfers comes true as Celtic have an issue 'staring them in the face'. That's the view of BBC pundit Michael Stewart who reckons the Scottish Premiership leaders' misfire against Motherwell lays bare the glaring gaps in recruitment the club must sort out.

Celtic turned to fringe men David Turnbull and Mikey Johnston to finally break the deadlock at Parkhead when the latter was tugged down and the former made no mistake from twelve yards after fan favourite Luis Palma faltered in front of Liam Kelly.

Rodgers went for the two up top approach in the second half but only managed a point. And Stewart reckons the Irishman, who came out swinging in this week's AGM to declare he would have the final say on transfers, must look to make good on that promise.

He reckons Oh is not the understudy for Kyogo that he should be, and that missing key players such as Reo Hatate, Daizen Maeda and Alistair Johnston is clearly showing.
