Discussing her future on Good Morning Britain today, Kate Garraway made a touching revelation about her future without Derek Draper.
The ITV presenter, sitting alongside Adil Ray on the morning show, was speaking with comedian and TV personality Paddy McGuinness about his career and new project when she opened up about her own thoughts on retirement.
While discussing his new venture with former Top Gear legend Chris Harris involving road trips, Paddy joked about the trials of working with him again.
"You're working out how to grow old and where to retire," voiced Kate, before reflecting on her own situation: "Obviously this is very much in my remit and focus so I'm interested in what you would discover."
The duo's series, set to air this year, would have them journey to Sweden, Greece, and Switzerland, confronting various midlife experiences.
On the subject of the show, Paddy jested: "I'm very much looking forward to getting back on the road with Chris Harris. Not so much looking forward to sharing a confined space with him. He doesn't believe in deodorant. On the plus side, he'll give me something to laugh at along the way. Bring it on," reports the Mirror.
Kate often speaks about Derek on GMB and during another recent discussion she shared her own personal experiences as a carer while having a chat with guests who got married after meeting while caring for their partners suffering from dementia.
Speaking about her own journey, Kate pointed out: "This is something that I have been through a little bit. Derek did not have dementia but there was a sense after COVID he was absolutely the same person, still loved him as much but there was a change.
"And with dementia, this doesn't happen overnight because it's something
