Kaizer Chiefs have been charged by the Premier Soccer League (PSL) following the unruly behaviour of their supporters during their 2-1 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns late last month.
Frustrated Amakhosi fans hurled objects onto the pitch after referee Skhumbuzo Gasa disallowed Edson Castillo's goal for offside in their Betway Premiership clash.

This isn't the first time Chiefs' supporters have been involved in such incidents.
Last season, they faced charges for similar behaviour on three occasions - first after a loss to TS Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium, followed by another defeat by SuperSport United at Peter Mokaba Stadium, and finally during their Carling Knockout exit at the hands of AmaZulu under coach Molefi Ntseki.
As a result of these repeated infractions, the previously suspended fine of R100 000 has now been activated with immediate effect.
"I hereby confirm that earlier this morning (Thursday), Kaizer Chiefs Football Club appeared before the PSL DC to answer to charges of spectator misbehaviour," said PSL prosecutor Zola Majavu.
"As a result of a missile-throwing incident on the 28th of September 2024 when they were fixtured against Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club.
"They pleaded guilty as charged and they were fined a monetary fine of R100 000 of which R50 000 is suspended on condition that during the period of suspension, which is up to the end of the season, they are not found guilty of a similar offence."
Majavu added: "Last season, they still had an outstanding and suspended fine of another R100 000 from a similar incident.
"Effectively, it means now that they were convicted for this new offence, they will now pay an additional R100 000
