Zwane says Chiefs must be 'cautious' ahead of MTN8 semi-final

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has warned his side to be cautious as they travel to Durban to face AmaZulu in the second leg of their MTN8 semi-final on Sunday.  

AmaZulu have had an underwhelming start to the campaign and they are now under the guidance of French mentor Romain Folz who replaced Brandon Truter. The 32-year-old has little experience managing in the big leagues, but Zwane is wary of taking the game for granted.

Zwane has warned his side to avoid giving away cheap goals against a dangerous AmaZulu.  

"Their approach is slightly different compared to the previous coach," Zwane told reporters.  

"They are more dangerous now because they are using all the offensive players. Look at the chances they created against Orlando Pirates and Maritzburg United.  

"I see a lot of difference and they're a dangerous team going forward. I have to also be a bit cautious and tighten our screws because of late we've been letting in goals very cheaply and it's something we want to work on." 

Conceding goals has not been Chiefs'  only concern, scoring goals has also been a problem for Amakhosi because they waste many chances. To add insult to injury, they head into the game without their top goal scorer, Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana, with a return date currently unknown.  

"I don't know how long he is going to be out but one thing that I know for sure is that he's got a challenge here and there... but we're still waiting for the doctor's report."   

With the score currently at 1-1, AmaZulu have a slight advantage courtesy of the away goals rule. Despite this, Zwane is not using it as an excuse and has warned his opponents that come Sunday, they will come out guns blazing.
