The Blues had little time to celebrate yet another trophy win following the Club World Cup Final, and funnily enough find themselves facing Crystal Palace once again, just as they did after winning the UEFA Super Cup at the beginning of the season.

Nevertheless, given the relentless nature of the season it will have been seven days since Chelsea last played by the time they face the Eagles, a rare luxury over the course of this term.
