You Won't See A Better Assist Today Than This 'World Class' Pass By Arsenal's Vivianne Miedema
Arsenal forward Vivianne Miedema showcased her ridiculous passing range on Saturday afternoon with a "world-class" assist for Stina Blackstenius in their WSL clash against Manchester United
The 25-year-old Dutch international, known for her flair on the ball, had dropped deep into her own half in the latter stages against Marc Skinner's side when she spotted Blackstenius in a dangerous position.
Miedema then threw her trusty right-boot behind the ball, delivering a perfectly-weighted, defence-splitting pass to her teammate, who went on to equalise with a cool finish. How good is this?
Arsenal teammate Leah Williamson, who was on the sidelines after picking up a slight knock, took to Twitter after the full-time whistle to praise the assist.
"This is the absolute best pass I’ve ever witnessed live, potentially in my whole life," she wrote.
Williamson wasn't the only person to wax lyrically about the pass. "There’s no one else on the pitch that is capable of playing that pass," one Twitter user said.
Another commented: "Settling in for a lovely weekend of watching this Vivianne Miedema pass 100 times."
