Yeovil Town 2022/23 National League fixtures confirmed with Scunthorpe and Wrexham up first

Chris Hargreaves will begin his competitive reign as Yeovil Town manager with a trip to newly-relegated Scunthorpe United, following the publication of the National League fixtures for 2022/23.

The Glovers will visit Glanford Park on the opening Saturday of the campaign and then host league favourites Wrexham at Huish Park on the following Saturday in a tough but exciting start for Hargreaves having been appointed earlier this summer.

Games against Darren Sarll’s Woking are on September 10, at the Lion Park Sports Ground, and March 4.

Yeovil travel to Torquay on Boxing Day as Hargreaves returns to his former club, managed by ex-Glovers boss Gary Johnson, with the return fixture five days later on New Year’s Day in Somerset.

Hargreaves’ side do face a potentially tricky run-in with a trip to Solihull Moors - who are expected to challenge for promotion again this season - with Oldham Athletic then the visitors to Huish Park in the final four games.

Bookmakers currently rate Yeovil's chances of promotion at 14/1, 12th overall in the division.
