Yellow fog warning in place over Greater Manchester
A fog warning will be in place this week, with the Met Office advising motorists to take care while driving due to poor visibility. The yellow warning will be in place on Thursday from 00.15 through to 10am.
Commuters are advised to take care while driving in large parts of western England stretching from the south coast up to Blackpool. This area includes Greater Manchester.
The Met Office has advised people to allow themselves more time for their journey as the conditions may cause delays. They have also advised that public transport including trains and buses may experience delays, and there is a chance that some flights may be cancelled.
