Xavi Proves He's The Perfect Barcelona Manager With Extraordinary Tiki-Taka Goal, Every Player Touched The Ball

It was their fourth and final goal which caught the eye online, which started with captain Gerard Pique just outside his own box.

Pique laid it off to goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen who fired it into the path of Pedri in midfield.

The teenager then laid it off to midfield partner Frenkie de Jong who worked it to Ferran Torres out wide.

Barcelona shifted the ball back out wide to bring Sergino Dest and Adama Traore into the game.

One commented: "Xavi has Barca playing magnitudes better, it's kind of crazy."

Another added: "2022 version of Tiki-taka on the menu boys."

A third said: "Man the last 5 matches have heavily reminded me of Pep Guardiola's Barca!! God bless Xavi for bringing back the beautiful play."

While someone else put: "Xavi is seriously the new Pep lmao, completely transformed this team."

Jordi Alba, de Jong and Gerard Pique were also on the scoresheet as Barcelona look to win their first European trophy since 2015.

Xavi said after the game: "We are improving our performances and must make the most of the spaces that open up.

"This is the tactical model we want to follow, it’s what we were looking for and we achieved it. The players and fans deserved this victory, we are satisfied, but have to remain humble.

"This is a victory that gives us confidence. We dominated for 90 minutes, and that is the first time we’ve really done that since I’ve been here...

"It’s only natural that expectations are high, because we are Barcelona, but we must also remember we’ve won nothing yet. We’re in the Round of 16, we want to win, but have to stay humble."
