WWE WrestleMania: Hope that former World Champion will be medically cleared for huge show

WWE is reportedly hoping that Bobby Lashley is cleared in time to wrestle for WrestleMania 38 next weekend.

Bobby Lashley has not wrestled since dropping the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber on February 19.

However, Lashley didn’t take a bump during the match, and it was later revealed that this was because he’s injured.

Lashley suffered a shoulder injury during his match with Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble, and reports stated he required surgery and would be out of action for four months.

However, that timetable may have been slightly exaggerated, as Lashley is reportedly heading back sooner than expected.

PWInsider is reporting that Lashley is working on getting cleared right now, with the hope being he’ll be able to make WrestleMania.

The site notes, however, that while the former MMA star is hoping to be ready to wrestle at the show, there is no guarantee that he’ll be cleared in time.

Bobby Lashley was in Dallas at AT&T Stadium last week.  The hope is he will be cleared in time for WrestleMania but that’s not 100%.

If he is ready to wrestle at the show, reports state that Bobby Lashley will be going one-on-one with Omos at WrestleMania 38.

Reports have indicated that Omos is set for a big singles push in WWE, which will see him face the former WWE Champion at the show, which you can read more about by clicking here.

However, as stated, there is no word on whether or not Bobby Lashley is going to be able to make the show, so it’s unclear how WWE is going to change its plans if he’s not able to.
