WWE WrestleMania 38: Latest on plans for shock main event

At WWE WrestleMania 38 on April 2 at AT&T Stadium, Stone Cold Steve Austin will be a guest on the KO Show with Kevin Owens.

WWE is not promoting a match between the two, but rather a talk show segment between the two former World Champions.

However, Austin and Owens have suggested that Stone Cold is going to get more physical that he has been in a WWE ring since his retirement in 2003.

And now, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE is planning on having the segment main event night one of WrestleMania.

WWE originally wanted Austin to have a match at the big show, but they don’t appear to have been able to convince him to get back into the ring after 19 years.

Irrespective of that, Austin is slated to main event WrestleMania for the first time since 2001, and for the fourth time in his career.

This will also be the first time that WWE had had something other than a match main event WrestleMania, which is the biggest wrestling show of the year.

Meltzer speculated that this match may happen at the end of the show because of how much fans are going to want to see it.

Meltzer suggested that if people have bought tickets just to see Austin, they may leave early if he isn’t going to main event, which isn’t exactly the best look.

The other candidate for the main event slot, according to Meltzer, was the match between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair, which will now take place at another point during the show.

There’s been no confirmation on which match is going to main event, with WWE calling several matches for WrestleMania the ‘main event’, and the match order could change between now and the weekend.
