WWE: Ronda Rousey recently pitched one of the most bonkers match finishes in years
WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey pitched ending her match at Extreme Rules with Liv Morgan in a rather hardcore way.
At the show, which took place on October 8, Rousey beat Morgan to reclaim her SmackDown Women’s Championship.
The match ended with Ronda making Liv pass out with a biceps crusher, but the UFC Hall of Famer had something much more hardcore in mind.
Ronda, speaking on her YouTube channel, revealed the pitch that she made for the finish to the match, saying that she wanted Morgan initially to powerbomb her into thumbtacks, via WrestleTalk.
I pitched the finish to be on thumbtacks. She would put down the thumbtacks and powerbomb me on the thumbtacks and then as a repeat of our finish before, I would go for the armbar on the thumbtacks and they would start counting the pin.
Ronda then explained that she wanted to lock in a submission that would make Liv pass out, with her face then falling into the thumbtacks.
Then I would have to push up to my one shoulder. Like into the thumbtacks to keep the armbar… Liv would be like bite her hand, trying not to tap out and pass out face down into the thumbtacks and have her hand protect the face.
Explaining why the pitch never made its way to TV, Ronda noted that WWE told her that they legally aren't able to use weapons like thumbtacks in matches anymore.
They said we can’t use thumbtacks anymore. That legally we can’t like purposefully, like, injure people, like, cut through skin and stuff. I don’t know

There's no denying that the finish that Rousey pitched would have made for an incredible spectacle, but unfortunately bigger things were at play and she wasn't able to bring it to reality.
