WWE Money in the Bank: Becky Lynch makes promise to President of Ireland

Becky Lynch will look to secure a game-changing victory tonight at Money in the Bank in a bid to win back the Raw Women’s Championship.

After securing the final spot in the women’s ladder match, Big Time Becks will take on Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Lacey Evans, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Shotzi in a bid to claim the famous briefcase.

Confident in her ability to come out on top, the Irish star has made a promise to her country’s president.

Lynch has been extremely vocal on Twitter in the lead up to Money in the Bank, but this tweet is perhaps one of the most iconic.

“Hi @PresidentIRL, I wanted to remind you that tomorrow night I’m going to win #MoneyInTheBank and cement myself as Irelands greatest treasure once again,” she wrote.

“Maybe we make July 2nd National Becky Day? Or get to work on some sort of Bronze Statue?”

Lynch’s fall from grace has been quite a significant one.

After returning from a 15-month hiatus, The Man returned to kickstart a new era on WWE.

She made her comeback at SummerSlam, gatecrashing Bianca Belair’s title defence match as a heel and under her new Big Time Becks ring name.

Lynch snatched the SmackDown title after less than a minute inside the ring and, following a belt swap with Charlotte Flair during the Draft, returned to the throne on Raw.

When she relinquished her title to Asuka back in May 2020, she essentially paused her reign as the champion. So, once she got her hands on the belt after the Draft, she continued her record run as title holder,
