Jimmy 'Whirlwind' White stayed on course for a fourth World Seniors snooker title with an inspired 4-1 victory over Tony Drago in the semi-finals at the Crucible Theatre on Sunday. The six-time world finalist produced breaks of 76, 102, 80 and 84 in a 4-0 quarter-final whitewash of Adrian Ridley on Saturday night and picked up from where he left off in Sheffield against Maltese favourite Drago, a figure he first met on the professional tour at the 1987 Grand Prix.

Ad Drago produced a fine break of 72 in the third frame, but White dominated the closing two frames to reach his sixth World Seniors final, and fifth in succession, against fellow Londoner Alfie Burden or Bristol's Ben Hancorn, who contest the second semi-final at 2:30pm on Sunday.
