World-famous star took money out of Man United icon David Beckham's wallet and made demand
NBA icon Shaquille O'Neal shared a hilarious story about finding David Beckham's wallet in Los Angeles on 'The Late Late Show with James Corden'.
The basketball superstar, who boasts four NBA titles - three with the Los Angeles Lakers and one with the Miami Heat - was in the company of Beckham's spouse, Victoria, when he recounted the amusing Beverly Hills incident. Beckham, a football legend himself, made headlines when he signed with LA Galaxy from Real Madrid in 2007 and is now making waves as co-owner of Inter Miami, playing a key role in attracting football luminaries such as Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and Luis Suarez.

Upon discovering Beckham's ID inside, Shaq opted not to hand it over to a desk clerk but instead decided to personally return the lost item to Beckham, even jokingly demanding a large sum for its retrieval. "First I played a joke, I was like 'I have your wallet, it's going to cost you a million dollars to get it back', but he knew it was me.
"[Beckham said] 'Shaq, stop playing'. I was like 'Dave, I found your wallet."
During an interview, the former NBA star mentioned an anecdote involving the ex-Manchester United star, stating: "The funny thing is he [Beckham] said 'There was some money in this wallet, you know what happened? ' And I was like 'nope'."
