World Cup 2026 qualifying draw live: Updates as Wales discover opponents

The road to 2026 starts here, with Craig Bellamy's Wales set to learn who will stand in their way as they bid to reach a third World Cup.

Wales have made a solid start under Bellamy, topping their Nations League group with a solid campaign that saw them go six games unbeaten, the best start ever from a Wales boss.

That alone has left Wales in a good position to earn at least a play-off spot from the upcoming qualifying campaign, but Bellamy might well be hoping his side won't have to lean on such an eventuality, and will instead want his side to get the job done by qualifying automatically.

That will be a tough assignment, regardless, with Wales set to discover who will be in their qualifying group later today.
