The World Cup 2022 is quickly approaching, but what is the official soundtrack for the tournament that’s hosted in Qatar?

Probably the most iconic tournament in sporting history, rolling around every four years, the World Cup is a spectacle of the finest footballing talent from around the globe who all compete for their nations in order to become champions of the world.

With this being the best tournament in national football, we also get to watch the best players. The likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and many more will all be on show. It’s going to be magical.

In the past, the World Cup has always had an official soundtrack to accompany the tournament, with this year being no different. So what is the official soundtrack for the World Cup 2022? Find out below.

The official soundtrack for the World Cup 2022 currently comprises of four songs. They are as follows:

The first song is produced by Atlanta-born rapper Lil Baby, and is accompanied by the 80s band Tears for Fears with a sample from their hit song – Everybody Wants to Rule the World.

Next up is ‘Arhbo’, which is a song sung in Arabic by Ozuna, GIMS and RedOne.

‘Hayya Hayya’ is next, which is a song by American singer Trinidad Cardona, Nigerian singer Davido and Qatari singer AISHA. It was the first single released on the 2022 FIFA World Cup official soundtrack. 

Finally, the most recent addition to the soundtrack is ‘Light The Sky’. The single features four of the Arab world’s most famous female singers – Balqees, Nora Fatehi, Manal and Rahma Riad; the single’s music video celebrates female referees
