Woman tries foundation hack prisoners love – and is inundated with compliments

A beauty expert has praised a makeup technique used by inmates to achieve perfect skin, which she demonstrated on TikTok to her two million followers.

Sydney Purl recreated the innovative method that some prisoners use to create their own foundation with the limited resources available to them.

The beauty lover explained that she combined baby powder, coffee, and lotion to concoct a mixture approximating her skin tone. Although finding the right shade proved challenging, she was pleasantly surprised by the homemade 'product's' texture and coverage.

In her viral video, Sydney remarked: "As you can see, this is a little bit too dark but I thought 'I'm just going to go with it and see what happens'." She found that after applying the mixture, it felt akin to bronzing drops on her skin. She concluded: "I was really impressed. This is so clever."

Her followers were quick to react, with one commenting: "Cute." Another expressed their astonishment: "Wow, I am impressed." A third praised the ingenuity: "Some of you girls are so inventive! Really impressive. Looks great." Yet another simply stated: "Excellent."
