Woman's 'worst nightmare' as violent balaclava-clad ex sneaks into her home and wakes her at 4am

An obsessed and violent bully left his ex-girlfriend and another woman terrified after he suddenly confronted them at 4am while they were asleep and angrily threatened to stab them both with a knife.

Stealthy intruder Jordan Morgan was wearing all black clothes, with his face covered by a balaclava, during a menacing and 'truly terrifying' incident that was 'everybody's worst nightmare'. He warned the two women 'I'll f***ing batter you both' and callously said of his ex-girlfriend 'I'll do an M charge for her', a reference to murder.

He had already strangled her and threatened to kill her during earlier incidents and she had been left suffering flashbacks and random panic attacks, Hull Crown Court heard. Morgan, 23, of Ilthorpe, Orchard Park estate, Hull, admitted intentional strangulation, assault causing actual bodily harm, affray and assault.

Jennifer Gatland, prosecuting, said that Morgan and the woman started seeing each other in December last year but she became concerned by his behaviour and did not want to be in a relationship with him. She was frightened to tell him because she was worried about his reaction, Hull Live reports.

On January 15 this year, Morgan went to her home and waited outside. "He was crying and asked to be allowed back in to talk," said Miss Gatland.

Morgan became aggressive and she allowed him into her home. He complained that she was on her phone for too long and he grabbed it out of her hand and threatened to put it in a bucket of bleach. He grabbed and held her around her neck, restricting her breathing, and pushed her up against a kitchen work top.
