Wolves to make five changes to Premier League squad list

Wolverhampton Wanderers will imminently finalise their squad for the remaining 17 Premier League fixtures following the January transfer window.

Premier League clubs must submit a squad list after each transfer window in order to register new players. Managers are permitted to name up to 25 senior players.

Wolves named 21 players following the summer transfer window, but Bruno Lage will make several alterations to the list.

Adama Traore will be removed from the squad following his transfer to Barcelona, initially a loan although the La Liga side have the option to make it permanent for around £25million.

Danish defender Oskar Buur’s contract was cancelled on deadline day, which will see him omitted from Lage’s revised squad list.

Buur returned to Wolves from a loan spell at Grasshoppers in the summer and played a handful of games for the under-23s during the first half of the campaign.

Midfielder Bruno Jordao, 23, is the latest Wolves player to join Grasshoppers on loan, meaning he will also be removed from the squad.

Toti has started Wolves’ last two Premier League matches to fill in for Romain Saiss at left-sided centre-back.
