Wolves respond after Barcelona cast doubt over Adama Traore transfer deal
Bruno Lage isn’t concerned after Barcelona president Joan Laporta cast doubt over Adama Traore’s permanent Wolves exit.
Wolves allowed winger Traore, 26, to join Barcelona on loan in the January transfer window and the Camp Nou outfit have the option to make the deal permanent for around £25million.
Traore has registered four assists in his first seven appearances for Barcelona and head coach Xavi has spoken highly of him.
Laporta suggested Barcelona would be keen to take up their option on Traore at his presentation in February - but he has now backtracked a little.
Despite Barcelona’s interest in a blockbuster deal for Norwegian forward Erling Haaland, Laporta isn’t sure the Catalans will be able to afford Traore.

He said: "Adama has Barca DNA, he's one of the best forwards in the world, he's fast. We'd love Adama Traore to stay here, it's possible - but we're in a difficult financial situation. We'll see at the end of the season.”
