Wolves: 56 y/o manager now surprise 'one to watch' at Molineux

Wolverhampton Wanderers remain on the lookout for a new manager and Carlos Carvalhal is a surprise contender to ‘keep an eye on’ amid ‘a lot of talk’ over the Molineux job, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.

Following a wretched run of form which had seen Wolves drop into the Premier League’s relegation zone, chairman Jeff Shi sacked Bruno Lage at the weekend.

The report suggests the 56-year-old, who has previously managed the likes of Sheffield Wednesday and Swansea City, would be open to making the move to the West Midlands.

Carvalhal has also been linked with the Hull City job in recent days, but it has emerged that he will not be taking over at the Championship club.
