'Wipe the floor' - Pundits issue clear Man City vs Manchester United FA Cup final prediction

A Manchester derby will today decide where the FA Cup trophy calls home for the next 12 months.

Manchester United take on Manchester City in a 3pm kick-off at Wembley in the final game of the domestic English season. After hundreds of sides went out with the aim of being at the home of football, United and City are the ones that have made it.

And there is much more than just bragging rights in Manchester on offer today. Silverware will be handed out and it means a lot to both clubs as the season approaches its climax.

United have already won the Carabao Cup and will be aiming to make it a double this afternoon in Erik ten Hag's first season in charge at Old Trafford. For City, they are hoping to keep their hopes of a Treble alive and can secure two thirds of it if they beat United this afternoon, as well as claim a famous win over their cross-town rival.

Here's what the pundits have had to say ahead of the Wembley showdown.

"Manchester United have had a great season and are desperate to stop City winning the Treble, but in the end it comes down to who has the better players.

"Pep Guardiola is going to go as strong as he can - he won't be thinking about the Champions League final - and a full-strength City are the superior side.

"City got beaten at Brentford last week, or at least their reserves did. They have had the luxury of being able to rest a few players after winning the Premier League early, which is big for them.

"We know Guardiola's side will dominate the ball and United will have to defend really strongly throughout - I don't see them keeping City out
