Mirra Andreeva has hailed Emma Raducanu's «amazing» 2021 US Open win, but says she tries to keep thoughts of a repeat far from her mind. The parallels between the two are striking: both are prodigiously talented at a young age, both have reached the fourth round in their first Wimbledon main draw, and both have backed up their first major appearance with an even better run in their second one. Ad Andreeva's run at SW19 continued with a third-round win over Anastasia Potapova that saw her become the youngest player to reach the fourth round of Wimbledon since Coco Gauff in 2019.
