Wimbledon 2022: Rafael Nadal & Novak Djokovic's potential route to final
Wimbledon is here and we can’t wait for an action-packed tennis tournament this summer.
The first set of matches were played on June 20 and the tournament is set to finish on July 10 with the men’s final.
Looking at the men’s singles side of things, here’s what the potential routes look like for both tennis superstars Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.
Djokovic looks to defend his title this year after winning the past three Grand Slams at Wimbledon. The Serbian has had to deal with a lot of drama in 2022, however, following his stance on COVID vaccinations.
To kickstart his run in the tournament, Djokovic will play Kwon Soon-woo, a South Korean tennis player who is currently ranked No. 52.
In the second round, Thanasi Kokkinakis could be up next. The Australian is ranked world No. 69 in the world.
In the third round of the competition, the Serbian could possibly play Miomir Kecmanovic.
