Williams v Raducanu: Naomi Osaka shown hiding from cameras in 'hilarious' clip
Naomi Osaka was in attendance for the Western and Southern Open clash between Serena Williams and Emma Raducanu on Tuesday night.
It seemed as though the Japanese tennis star hoped she would somehow sneak in unnoticed, judging by her reaction to being filmed in the crowd.
As she was applauding a point for Williams, the cameras panned to show a close up of the four-time Grand Slam champion in the stands.
It wasn’t the first time Osaka had been filmed during the match, but this was perhaps the first time she had noticed.
When she realised she was on screen, the 24-year-old stopped mid-clap and turned to look at her friends before slowly sinking down in her chair to hide.
The official Western and Southern Open Twitter account has posted the video, and Osaka can be seen smirking as she attempts to slide away from the camera’s view.
“We see you, @naomiosaka,” the caption reads.
We see you, @naomiosaka
