Will Quidditch feature in Hogwarts Legacy?

Hogwarts Legacy is one of the major talking points across the gaming community at the time of writing – and so is the subject of Quidditch.

Harry Potter fans across the world gasped when Avalanche Studios, the game’s developers, showcased their enthralling gameplay trailer, which illustrated just how detailed this open-world AAA title actually is.

Of course, the game is still in development which means that there are particular details of Hogwarts Legacy that have yet to be disclosed. Unusually, nothing was mentioned about Quidditch.

In case you don’t know, Quidditch is the fantasy broomstick-based sport that features heavily in the Harry Potter books, with participants from each of the four houses, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin, taking part.

The virtual wizarding world is set to be just as unforgiving as fans saw in the films, with a possible goblin uprise one of many dangers that players will need to tackle.

But the concept of Quidditch in Hogwarts Legacy remains a mystery, but plenty of reports have already emerged regarding this exact topic.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look likely that Quidditch will appear in Hogwarts Legacy, and there is a good reason why this might be the case.

While nothing has been announced by Avalanche just yet, they have answered a few questions on the game’s FAQ page, one of which asks about online and co-op gameplay, to which they replied the game is a “single-player experience.”

Because of this, and unless an online element comes after its launch, we doubt that the developers will provide a Quidditch element to Hogwarts Legacy with just one player.
