"Will be leaving this summer" - Major Liverpool claim will have supporters gutted - opinion

This summer is set to be an incredibly busy one for Liverpool who in previous windows, have opted to conduct their business quietly and with minimum fuss.

Sadio Mane’s future is up in the air with the Senegalese attracting interest from Bayern Munich while Mo Salah’s own contract situation is well-documented too.

Both players find themselves out of contract in the summer of 2023, but a worrying claim has now been made about their futures.

It comes from pundit Noel Whelan who told Football Insider: “That big potential transfer fee could do a lot of good. It could be Mane, or it could be Salah.

“One of the two, I believe, will be leaving this summer. For me personally, I’m expecting it to be Salah.
