Wigan Warriors name unchanged squad for Huddersfield clash
Wigan Warriors coach Matt Peet has named an unchanged 21-man squad as the Warriors look to preserve their unbeaten start to the Super League season on Thursday.
Wigan host fellow unbeaten side Huddersfield Giants, with both teams looking to make it three wins from the opening three games in 2022.
And Peet's cause has been boosted with his ability to name an unchanged squad for the game, with no new injury or suspension concerns for the Warriors to contend with.
Centre Iain Thornley remains unavailable after suffering an ankle injury in the opening round of the season against Hull Kingston Rovers, with Thornley likely to be out for a number of weeks.
Bevan French has returned to the country and is set to link up with the Warriors officially this week after spending the off-season in Australia following the death of his mother. However, he is not yet ready to be considered for selection as he regains his match fitness.
But Peet is able to retain a strong level of consistency in his side after naming an unchanged 21-man squad to face Ian Watson's side this week, with Jai Field likely to continue at fullback after his impressive start to the season.
