Why Pep Guardiola will not be worried about Erling Haaland's injury record at Man City

Erling Haaland's move to Manchester City this summer is the standout transfer of the window. During his time at Borussia Dortmund, Haaland managed to score 83 goals in 87 appearances, should he continue that staggering form at the Etihad Stadium, Pep Guardiola's team could become even more of an unstoppable force than they already are.

Looking at last season, the 21-year-old bagged 27 goals in 29 appearances. A feat which becomes even more incredible when you take into account the injuries he sustained over the course of the campaign.

Haaland briefly struggled with muscular problems at the end of September moving into October before hip flexor issues kept him out of action from mid-October to November. His muscular injury returned in February before he could round off the Bundesliga season adding six goals to his name.

His goalscoring prowess has not been affected by these injury
